On November 3rd, a visual arts exhibition titled "Feminization of Poverty" was inaugurated, featuring works by students of the Department of Arts and Communication at Frederick University.

Nearly 100 girls, aged 9-12, had the chance to experiment and explore new discoveries during the STEM Day at our Limassol campus.

Human rights and refugee activist Iasonas Apostolopoulos, was the keynote speaker at the Symposium on 'Migration and Mental Resilience,' organized by the Department of Psychology and Social Sciences and the University's Mental Resilience Unit.

The D^2EPC research project, in which Frederick Research Center (FRC) is involved, was presented with the Standards+Innovation Award in the "Project" category. Dr Paris Fokaides accepted the award as the project's scientific and technical manager. 

Dr. Christina Economou is coordinating the CYGMEN proposal, which secured funding of 1.5 million euros from the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) to enhance the existing infrastructure of Frederick Research Center for monitoring extreme weather phenomena.
