On 28 May 2026, the EU-CONEXUS Governing Board adopted the EU-CONEXUS Declaration on adherence to EHEA (European Higher Education Area) Fundamental Values, Common European Values and Democratic Citizenship.

Hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles are recognized as an important pathway for decarbonizing road transport and supporting the transition to sustainable mobility. However, their economic viability largely depends on factors such as vehicle costs, hydrogen prices, and carbon policy.

Frederick University, together with the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment and the Department of Environment, successfully co-organised the Circular Bioeconomy Workshop on 29 May 2026. 

Frederick University is offering postgraduate scholarships for 2026–27 on the occasion of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU. The scholarships are part of joint actions of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth and the Secretariat of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU. 

The Blue Limassol Forum (BLF) took place on Friday, 15 May, at Frederick University, Limassol, with strong participation from representatives of the maritime sector, the research and academic community, and representatives of decision-making bodies.
