The Studies and Student Welfare Service of Frederick University informs all students that the elections for Student Council Executive Board members will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
Students will be able to vote from 08:30 – 18:30 in Nicosia (Gym Room) and in Limassol (Library) and from 08.30 -14.30 in the Department of Architecture Building.
Η Υπηρεσία Σπουδών και Φοιτητικής Μέριμνας του Πανεπιστημίου Frederick, πληροφορεί τους/τις φοιτητές/τριες ότι την Τρίτη, 7 Μαρτίου 2023, θα διεξαχθούν εκλογές για την ανάδειξη Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Φοιτητικής Ένωσης.
Οι φοιτητές / τριες θα μπορούν να ψηφίσουν από τις 8:30 μέχρι τις 18:30 στη Λευκωσία (Aίθ. Γυμναστηρίου) και στη Λεμεσό (στη Βιβλιοήκη), και από τις 8:30 – 14:30 στο κτήριο Αρχιτεκτονικής.

Students from all departments are welcome to be part of the University's Formula Racing Team and join its journey. If you are looking to learn more about how to design and build a racing car, develop a brand and promote an ambitious Formula team to the top, this is your chance.
Students can choose one of the following fields of interest:
- Chassis, body, suspension
- Powertrain Engine
- Electrical, electronics, ergonomic
- Marketing
- Logistics
- Business Plan Presentation

The FU Formula Racing Team was the first Cypriot team to enter the Universities' Formula Competion held in Varano, Italy, in 2017. The racing car is developed by students under the guidance of Dr Antonis Londos, Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Students from other departments can also participate in the team, and help develop its brand, business plan and marketing.
As a Unit, the FU FRT is part of the University's "Active Students" Initiative, which was awarded during the first Education Leaders Awards at the Category “Best Learning Experience”. Frederick University focuses on experiental learning activities that complement classroom education.

This year’s Red Bull Dance Your Style CY starts from Frederick University on Thursday, 16 April, from 13:00 to 14:00.
Get on stage and compete in a unique and unpredictable street dance battle. The crowd will decide who wins by voting for their favourite dancers.
The winner will get an JBL speaker as a prize, represent Frederick University at a battle between local Universities and may be selected to compete in the national final that will take place on 22 April.
The winner of the national final will represent Cyprus in the world final of Red Bull Dance Your Style.

Το φετινό Red Bull Dance Your Style CY αρχίζει από το Πανεπιστήμιο Frederick την Τσικνοπέμπτη!
Από τις 13:00 μέχρι τις 14:00, ανεβείτε στη σκηνή που θα στηθεί στο κεντρικό κτήριο του Πανεπιστημίου Frederick στη Λευκωσία και αναμετρηθείτε σε battles (1 Vs 1) χορεύοντας το αγαπημένο σας είδος street dance. Κριτές θα είναι το κοινό - οι συμφοιτητές και οι συμφοιτήτριές σας - που θα ψηφίζουν με voting cards. Ο φοιτητής ή η φοιτήτρια που θα λάβει τις περισσότερες ψήφους θα κερδίσει ένα JBL speaker.
Ακολούθως, οι νικητές/τριες από έξι κυπριακά Πανεπιστήμια θα διαγωνιστούν μεταξύ τους και ο νικητής ή η νικήτρια θα κερδίσει το εισιτήριο για να διαγωνιστεί στο Red Bull Dance Your Style CY, στις 22 Απριλίου. Ο μεγάλος νικητής ή η μεγάλη νικήτρια του Red Bull Dance Your Style CΥ, κερδίζει 1000 ευρώ μετρητά αλλά και το εισιτήριο για τον μεγάλο παγκόσμιο τελικό, όπου θα εκπροσωπήσει την Κύπρο και θα αναμετρηθεί με χορευτές και χορεύτριες από όλο τον κόσμο.

Interested students are invited to submit their applications by March 31, 2022. Failure to apply by the above deadline entails the loss of the right to claim the grand.
Completed applications can be delivered to the Citizen Service Centers (KEP) and the Citizens Centers (KE.PO.)
APPLICATIONS THAT WILL BE SENT BY POST OR THROUGH COURIER COMPANIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Υποβολή αιτήσεων για παραχώρηση κρατικής φοιτητικής μέριμνας για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2022-2023
Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι καλούνται όπως υποβάλουν τις αιτήσεις τους μέχρι και τις 31 Μαρτίου 2022. Τονίζεται ότι η προθεσμία αυτή ορίζεται από τον Περί Κρατικής Φοιτητικής Μέριμνας Νόμο του 2015 έως 2020 και δεν θα παραχωρηθεί παράταση. Παράλειψη υποβολής αίτησης μέχρι την πιο πάνω προθεσμία συνεπάγεται απώλεια του δικαιώματος για διεκδίκηση κρατικής φοιτητικής μέριμνας.
Οι συμπληρωμένες αιτήσεις μπορούν να παραδίδονται στα Κέντρα Εξυπηρέτησης του Πολίτη (ΚΕΠ) και τα Κέντρα του Πολίτη (ΚΕΠΟ).
