Frederick University has once again been recognised as the leading university in Cyprus in the THE Impact Rankings, maintaining its position for the third consecutive year. It is the only institution in Cyprus ranked among the top 301–400 universities worldwide.

The STEM Camp for girls aged 13–16, organized by Frederick University, was successfully completed for the fourth consecutive year. The camp is part of the University’s long-term campaign to address the underrepresentation of girls and women in STEM fields.

The Department of Civil Engineering at Frederick University recently held a meeting with the Cyprus Association of Civil Engineers (CYACE), the official professional body representing civil engineers in Cyprus and internationally since 1992.

This year, Frederick University had the honor of virtually hosting two distinguished, internationally recognized figures during its graduation ceremonies: Professor Jeffrey Sachs and Professor Georgios Babiniotis, both Honorary Doctors of the University.

Professor Andreas Poullikkas, a member of the School of Engineering faculty at Frederick University, has received a new global distinction and ranked among the top scientists worldwide (Highly Ranked Scholar) by the ScholarGPS platform.
