The President of the Academy of Athens and Space Exploration scientist, Professor Stamatios Krimizis, was the keynote speaker at our University's Excellence Awards Ceremony, held on June 26 at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre.

Five events marked the end of the journey of the Critical ARts Education for Sustainable societies (CARE/SS) project: four local events in Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Spain and one International Conference in Poznan, Poland.

Our Maritime students have just returned from their annual field trip, organized by Dr. Emmanuel Nikolaidis, Assistant Professor at the Department of Maritime Transport and Commerce (DMTC), and Dr. Nicolas Berketis, Lecturer at the same department.

Frederick University announces that Island Oil Holdings is awarding two (2) 50% scholarships for the first academic year that can be renewed to cover the entire duration of studies (4 years – 240 ECTS) in Frederick University’s BSc in Maritime Studies.
