Frederick University participates in the research project HEI GreenPath: Shaping HEI environment for a sustainable tomorrow, which aims to strengthen ecological awareness within all members of its university community. 

We are excited to announce that the start-up Euphyia Tech Ltd, a Frederick University spin-off, won the Best Pitch Award from the European SUSTAIN Network. The award was presented during a networking event held on November 22 in Thessaloniki.

The Department of Civil Engineering organised an educational field trip to the construction site of Limassol-Saittas highway project on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. The project is currently under construction and is expected to complete by February 2025.

On November 18th 2024, the DECARBONLIM Project officially commenced, marking a key step toward achieving the net-zero emissions goal set by the city of Limassol. The project's kick-off meeting was held at the DP World Limassol Cruise Terminal in Limassol port.

Our University's Nature Conservation Unit is organizing the 5th Mediterranean Plant Conservation Week (5MPCW), to be held from April 7 to 11, 2025, at St. Raphael Resort & Marina in Limassol. Call for abstracts is now open.
